Capilano Labonté Inc (CLI) is part of Capilano Honey Limited, one of the largest honey processing and marketing companies in the world, with volume capacity of approximately 44,000 tonnes of retail/bulk honey annually.
CLI’s Canadian operation is complimented by our operations in Argentina - Capilano Argentina and Australia - Capilano Honey Limited. DESCRIPTION
The nectar and saccharine exudations of plants, gathered, modified and stored by the honeybee. It may be a blend of several straight line honeys to give the required colour and flavour. The honey shall be clean, practically free from foreign matter including comb, wax and insect fragments. Free from signs of spoilage such as fermentation and mould growth, additives, preservatives, noxious substances and admixtures of any kind including sucrose and invert sugars.
APPEARANCE
Viscous liquid, clear to slightly turbid. Free from sediment.
ODOUR
Pleasant, characteristic aroma. Free from foreign odours.
FLAVOUR
Pleasant, characteristic, sweet flavour, sufficiently strong but not distinctive. Will vary according to floral variety.
Free from objectionable or foreign flavours.
